The Architect
of Retrain Our Brains and The House of Consciousness

Why I Built the House
Retrain Our Brains did not begin as a business.
It began as a question.
Why do so many people change their circumstances… yet continue living the same patterns?
For years, I believed I needed to become someone new.
Today I understand something different.
I did not need to become someone else.
I needed to remember who I was before fear, survival, and conditioning taught me otherwise.
That realization became the foundation of everything that would eventually become Retrain Our Brains.
The Journey That Built the House
I did not wake up one day with a framework.
Life built it.
Every chapter became another room.
Every challenge became another floor.
Every question became another doorway
The Hockey Years
For most of my early life, hockey was my identity.
It taught me discipline.
Commitment.
Sacrifice.
But it also taught me what happens when your worth becomes attached to performance.
When hockey ended, I was not just losing a sport.
I was losing who I believed myself to be.
The Injuries
Years of injuries followed.
Shoulder surgeries.
Concussions.
A slipped disc.
Each one forced me to ask a deeper question.
What if my body was not working against me…
What if it was communicating with me?
The Escape
When pain has nowhere to go…
It looks for somewhere to hide.
For me, that became addiction.
Substances.
Distractions.
Constantly searching for something outside of myself that could quiet what was happening within.
For a long time…
I was not living.
I was escaping.
The Search
Healing did not begin when I quit using substances.
It began when I became curious.
I stopped asking,
“How do I fix myself?”
and started asking,
“How does a human being actually work?”
That question changed everything.
Returning to the Body
Over the following years I immersed myself in understanding the human system.
The nervous system.
Breath.
Movement.
Posture.
Attention.
The brain.
The body.
Not as separate pieces…
But as one living system.
The more safety returned to my body…
The more clarity returned to my mind.
The more present I became…
The less I needed to escape.
The Spiritual Journey
As my body changed…
My understanding of life changed with it.
I realized that true spirituality was not about escaping the human experience.
It was about fully inhabiting it.
Not leaving the body.
Returning to it.
Not becoming someone new.
Remembering who I had always been.
The House
One day I realized I was not simply collecting ideas.
I was discovering an architecture.
A way of understanding transformation that brought everything together.
Not as isolated techniques.
But as one coherent home.
That became…
The House of Consciousness.
A place where awareness becomes practice.
Practice becomes embodiment.
And embodiment becomes the way we live.
Why Retrain Our Brains Exists
I do not believe people are broken.
I believe they have forgotten how to live in relationship with themselves.
Retrain Our Brains exists to provide a place where people can remember.
Not through information alone.
Through experience.
Through practice.
Through conscious participation in their own lives.
The House is simply a map.
You are the one who walks through it.
An Invitation
If something in these words feels familiar…
Perhaps you have not discovered something new.
Perhaps you have remembered something that has always been within you.
The front door is open.
Welcome home.
Enter the House
